Shimron Hetmyer looked positive by the was undone by a peach from Mohammad Aamer for 25. Hope and Chase have fought on since. Hope and Chase dug it out for a while, but a brilliant yorker from Hasan Ali bowled Hope, giving the young Pakistan bowler his maiden Test wicket. Pakistan will feel that they can wrap up the match in the post-lunch session. Their bowlers have done a superb job so far. Their fast bowlers were not up to the mark in the initial stages of the first innings, but they have gotten into their stride early in the second innings, which is great news for Pakistan. West Indies on Day Four were bowled out for 247, conceding a 129-run first innings lead. Roston Chase top-scored for West Indies with 69, but Mohammad Abbas was the star of the show as he picked up his maiden five-wicket haul in Tests. West Indies managed to pull things back when they bowled in the second session. They reduced Pakistan to 90 for 7 at one point, but recovered well enough to declare at 174 for 8, setting West Indies a target f 304.
Pakistan’s second innings marked the last time Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan would bat for Pakistan. Younis scored 35 in his final innings, but Misbah scored just two.
Pakistan in their first innings scored 376, thanks to a century from Azhar Ali. Misbah-ul-Haq, Babar Azam and Sarfraz Ahmed to chipped in with important fifties. Chase picked up four wickets, while Jason Holder finished with three.
On Day One, West Indies won the toss and elected to bowl first. They went into this match with an unchanged side. Pakistan got in Hasan Ali and Shan Masood in place of Shadab Khan and Ahmed Shehzad respectively. The three-match series is level on 1-1.
